FLIGHT FOR LIFE is currently accepting resumes for the position of Lead Communication Specialist in the Flight Communications Center. This position provides leadership and guidance for all aspects of the 24/7 communication operations of the FFL transport system. In addition the Lead Communication Specialist supervises the FFL Communication Specialists and staffs the communication center for dedicated shifts. This position is responsible to ensure twenty-four-hour (24) coverage in the Flight Communications Center. Shifts are primarily twelve-hour (12) shifts, including nights and weekends, with some holidays.

An understanding of medical terminology, phone/communication equipment, excellent customer service skills, map reading skills, and the ability to multi-task are required. Previous medical dispatching and supervisory experience along with a background in EMS is preferred.
