FLIGHT FOR LIFE is currently accepting resumes for the position of Communication Specialist in the Flight Communications Center. This position performs emergency communication functions to facilitate the dispatch and coordination of FLIGHT FOR LIFE teams for all requests of services. Understanding of medical terminology, phone, radio and electronic communication equipment, exemplary customer service skills, map reading skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Previous medical dispatching experience along with a background in EMS is preferred.

There is a current vacancy for a full-time position, needed to ensure 24 hour coverage of the Flight Communications Center. The shifts will be primarily 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends, with some holidays.
