06-14-10 McHenry Blood Drive, Quilt Raffle, Food Collection and more

Circle June 26 on your calendar! Flight For Life-McHenry is teaming up with McHenry Township FPD for the Firefighters Challenge Blood Drive on Saturday, June 26 from 9 am - 3 pm. The event will be held at McHenry Township FPD, Station 1, 3610 Elm Street, McHenry, Illinois.

To sign up to donate blood, call (815) 385-0075 OR click here. All donations will be credited to McHenry FPD.

After you have donated blood:

• You will receive a Brian Carey Memorial T-Shirt

• You will receive ONE FREE Raffle Ticket for a one-of-a-kind quilt, created from McHenry Township FPD and Flight For Life T-Shirts

• You can enjoy a hamburger or hot dog prepared by a "Grillmaster" Firefighter and a Flight For Life Helicopter cookie!

We also invite you to bring along some non-perishable food items to donate to our collection for the Crystal Lake Food Pantry.

And you can see this one-of-a-kind quilt in person and purchase additional raffle tickets:

• 1 for $5  OR 

• 3 for $10

Proceeds from the raffle will go to Flight For Life's Night Vision Goggle Program.
